This workaround allows iOS users to change their App Store region to Poland to download geo-blocked apps such as ChatGPT. By selecting the BLIK payment method during setup, you can switch countries without needing a foreign credit or debit card.

How it works

  1. Open the App Store and tap your profile icon to go into Account Settings.
  2. Select 'Country/Region' (Страна/регион) and switch it from Russia to Poland.
  3. Accept the Terms and Conditions.
  4. Under payment method, select 'BLIK' (this avoids requiring an international debit/credit card).
  5. Enter a Polish address and phone number (you can generate one via bestrandoms.com).
  6. Tap 'Next' (if an error occurs, tap 'Next' again).
  7. Once the store updates, search for and download the official ChatGPT app.
