Fast-Paced Keyword Montage Effect in CapCut

Create a rapid screenshot montage aligned to a single keyword in CapCut

This video editing technique creates a rapid, strobe-like visual montage by aligning different screenshots around a single focal keyword. By trimming each aligned clip to roughly 0.1 seconds, editors can produce an engaging hook or transition for short-form video formats. It is easily assembled in CapCut using simple alignment guides.

How it works

  1. Search for your target word (e.g., 'Идея') in Google or a web browser.
  2. Take approximately 10 screenshots of different search results, articles, and websites containing that word.
  3. Import the screenshots into CapCut (mobile or desktop).
  4. Add two horizontal reference lines (or guide text) to mark the top and bottom bounds of the word.
  5. Adjust and scale each screenshot so the target word aligns in the exact same position between the guides.
  6. Trim each screenshot clip on the timeline to roughly 0.1 seconds.
  7. Remove the guides and add quick sound effects (like a film projector or camera shutter) to complete the effect.
