Blueprint-First Outreach Playbook
Five-step framework for B2B cold outreach using workflow blueprints instead of pitches
A B2B cold outreach framework modeled on Gojiberry's outbound strategy across email and LinkedIn. Instead of asking prospects for a call or demo upfront, it uses high-intent engagement triggers and offers a complete, step-by-step workflow document upon request. The blueprint teaches the manual solution to the prospect's problem before positioning software as the time-saving accelerator.
The framework
Gojiberry used cold email + LinkedIn outreach to reach $2.5M ARR, costing almost nothing.
1. Find high-intent leads. Not random Sales Nav exports — people who: commented on posts about your problem; engaged with competitors; liked content around specific pain points; match your ICP and are actually active online.
2. Collect context. Name, company, role, what they engaged with, what problem they probably care about. Makes outreach feel relevant instead of automated.
3. Build a blueprint before sending anything. Not a pitch deck — a simple document explaining: the problem, the workflow, screenshots/videos, the results, how someone could replicate it manually, where your product saves time. Their blueprint: 'How to find high-intent leads on LinkedIn, enrich them, and contact them before competitors do.'
4. Send the blueprint instead of asking for a demo. Bad: 'Want to hop on a 15-minute call?' Better: 'Saw you engaged with content about outbound and warm leads. I can send you the exact workflow we used to book meetings from high-intent prospects. Just reply YES and I'll send it over.'
5. Let the blueprint do the selling. Inside the document: show the manual workflow first (find signals, qualify leads, enrich data, write personalized outreach), then show how your product makes it 10x faster. The product feels like the logical next step, not a forced pitch.
Annotated screenshot shows the anatomy of the message: a Notion blueprint link ('Blueprint, not demo'), a hand-raiser YES reply, a personal trigger ('saw that you commented on my LinkedIn post'), proof ('exact setup we used to book 100+ meetings in a few weeks, consistently 3–6 meetings/day from high-intent leads'), and a simple CTA ('Just reply YES and I'll send it over').
