Curated design-engineering skills and constraints for coding agents

Visit ui-skills.com ↗

UI Skills is an open catalog of design-engineering rules, constraints, and audit skills created by Julien Thibeaut (@ibelick) and community contributors. It provides strict guidelines covering accessibility, motion, and frontend craft that can be supplied to AI coding assistants like Cursor, Claude, or Copilot to prevent generic or poorly structured UI code. The collection is accessible directly via web, an npx CLI, and a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server.

What it's for

  • Inject strict design and accessibility constraints into AI coding assistants like Cursor and Claude
  • Audit existing frontend codebases for animation quality, UI polish, and accessibility bugs
  • Standardize component primitives and CSS styling patterns across AI-assisted frontend teams

Features

  • Catalog of modular skills covering motion, accessibility, UI polish, and frontend architecture
  • MCP server integration for agents like Claude, Cursor, and Copilot
  • Terminal access via npx ui-skills CLI
