# Toilet Brush Disinfecting and Air-Drying Method

A practical household hack for sanitizing a toilet brush directly over the bowl after use. Suspending the brush under the toilet seat allows it to drip-dry completely instead of sitting wet in its holder. This simple routine prevents lingering odors and bacterial growth between deep cleans.

## How it works

Trap the handle of the toilet brush under the toilet seat so the brush head is suspended over the bowl. Pour hot or boiling water over the bristles, spray thoroughly with disinfectant spray, and let it hang there to air-dry completely before storing. (Note: use warm or hot rather than boiling water on cold porcelain to prevent thermal shock).
