# Telegram Voice Note to Task Automation with Make

> Convert Telegram voice notes into structured tasks using Whisper and Make.com

This workflow automates personal task capture by turning spontaneous audio messages into structured to-do items. It connects a Telegram bot to OpenAI Whisper for speech-to-text, uses an LLM to extract action items, and automatically logs the results to Airtable and Slack. It eliminates manual note-taking and keeps task boards organized on the go.

## How it works

Automation Architecture in Make.com:

1. Telegram Bot: Listens for incoming audio messages and downloads the voice file.
2. OpenAI (Whisper): Transcribes the audio recording into text.
3. Router:
4. Branch A: Sends an instant notification or log to a designated Slack channel (\#testingautomations).
5. Branch B: Passes the transcription to an LLM (OpenAI / Anthropic Claude) to parse out action items, tasks, and tags, then creates structured record cards in Airtable (e.g., categorized into 'Incoming' and 'For Later').
