Visit github.com ↗

An open-source SaaS starter kit combining Next.js 15 App Router, Convex for real-time backend data, and Clerk for authentication and subscription billing. It provides pre-configured webhooks, protected routes, and payment-gated pages so you can deploy a paid web app without wiring auth and payments from scratch.

What it's for

  • Launch a paid micro-SaaS product without manual Stripe API configuration
  • Set up real-time user data synchronization between Clerk and Convex via webhooks
  • Gate specific routes and dashboard features behind active subscriptions
  • Prototype full-stack React applications using shadcn/ui and Tailwind CSS v4

Features

  • Next.js 15 with App Router and Turbopack support
  • Convex real-time database schema and serverless backend functions
  • Clerk authentication with social logins and JWT session integration
  • Clerk Billing integration for subscription management and payments
  • Pre-wired Svix webhooks syncing user and payment events to Convex

Why it was saved

  • @brianmmdev, 22 July 2025: Ready-made starting point for building SaaS-style apps on the Convex + Clerk stack, which Brian Morrison II calls "an incredible pairing".
  • @RayFernando1337, 17 August 2025: Skip-from-zero setup for shipping a functional paid SaaS quickly; the thread claims the full stack goes from clone to working payments in about 10 minutes.
