Remote Kazakhstan E-Residence & Bank Card via Freedom Bank

Remotely obtain Kazakhstan e-residency and international bank cards at a discounted fee

This tip shows foreign nationals how to secure Kazakhstan e-residence, obtain a local tax number (IIN), and set up international bank accounts without visiting the country. Entering the official e-residence process through Freedom Bank's app cuts the standard registration fee from $500 to $150 per year.

How it works

  1. Download the Freedom Bank Kazakhstan mobile app rather than going straight to the E-Residence portal.
  2. Tap 'Become a client' (Стать клиентом).
  3. Follow the prompt to transition into the E-RESIDENCE app/flow.
  4. Complete identity registration using an international passport (заграничный паспорт).
  5. Entering through the Freedom Bank partner route reduces the annual e-residence fee from $500 to $150.
  6. Once registered and issued an IIN, proceed to open bank accounts and order virtual/physical cards remotely from supported banks (such as Freedom Bank or Bank RBK, listed on the E-Residence platform).
