# Netryx Astra V2

> Open-source image geolocation tool using computer vision instead of metadata

Netryx Astra V2 is a self-hosted OSINT application that identifies the geographic coordinates of a photo without relying on EXIF metadata. It pairs MegaLoc for visual candidate retrieval with MASt3R for 3D-aware dense image matching against street-view imagery databases. The system clusters matching results using spatial consensus and supports community-shared offline index files.
