Llama-3.1-Nemotron-70B-Instruct is a 70-billion-parameter open-weight language model customized by NVIDIA using RLHF on top of Meta's Llama 3.1 70B. It was trained with the HelpSteer2 dataset to significantly improve helpfulness, coherence, and instruction following. It scores near or above frontier models like GPT-4o on automated alignment benchmarks like Arena-Hard and AlpacaEval 2.
