# Live-Action to AI Anime Integration Workflow

> Turn real-life footage into an animated character composite using AI tools

This multi-step creative workflow combines generative AI and video editing tools to transform live-action footage into an anime character composited into a generated scene. It uses Midjourney for backgrounds, Runway for subject isolation, DomoAI for anime video-to-video stylization, and CapCut for final chroma key compositing. It allows video creators to produce stylized animation scenes without manual drawing or rotoscoping.

## How it works

Step 1 (Environment): Find or generate an isometric background image in Midjourney (e.g., from the Explore tab) representing the scene (room, balcony, courtyard).

Step 2 (Filming): Film yourself performing the action from a matching perspective (e.g., top-down isometric angle from an elevated balcony).

Step 3 (Background Removal): Upload the video to Runway ML and use the Green Screen tool to isolate your body against a solid green background.

Step 4 (Animation): Take the green-screened video into DomoAI (video-to-video) and apply an Anime or Illustration style preset to turn your movements into an animated character.

Step 5 (Compositing): In video editing software (e.g., CapCut), layer the DomoAI video over the Midjourney background image, use Chroma Key to remove the green screen, and position/scale the character into the scene.
