LinkedIn Outreach Archetype Classifier & DM Drafter

AI prompt workflow to classify LinkedIn contacts by archetype and draft messages

This networking prompt workflow analyzes LinkedIn profiles and recent posts to categorize contacts into four distinct communication archetypes: Driver, Influencer, Steady, or Analyst. It adapts tone, length, and structure to draft tailored outreach messages that improve response rates when asking for job referrals or informational interviews.

The prompt

### Workflow:

1. Download your LinkedIn data (Settings & Privacy -> Data Privacy -> Get a copy of your data -> Download larger data archive or Connections.csv), or source leads using Clay, Apollo, or Sales Navigator.

2. Filter for people at your target companies who recently got hired or promoted (ideally within the last 90 days).

3. Feed the profiles and posts into Claude / ChatGPT with the research prompt.

4. Have the AI draft outreach messages matching their communication archetype.

### Prompt 1 (Find + Research):

"1. Find people at [target companies] who fit [target role]. Start with my Connections.csv and use Clay to expand the list.

2. Prioritize recent hires, promotions and teams with an open role. Verify dates and sources.

3. Read each person's accessible profile, posts, comments and writing. Aim for 5 samples; report gaps.

4. Tentatively tag the writing Driver, Influencer, Steady or Analyst. Add confidence, exact evidence and source links. Use 'insufficient evidence' when needed.

5. Record sentence length, punctuation, slang and emojis. Export networking-list.csv with person_id. Do not send messages."

### The 4 Communication Archetypes:

- **Driver**: Direct, competent, results-first. Keep messages very short and to the point.

- **Influencer**: Expressive, playful, enthusiastic about big announcements. Match their energy, be informal, and use emojis.

- **Steady**: Warm, team-first, generous with credit. Introduce yourself properly, start warmly, and reference mutual connections.

- **Analyst**: Detailed, specific, technical/introverted. Skip fluff and ask directly about a specific post, technical architecture, or sync process they wrote about.
