iPhone Anti-Theft Lock Screen & Find My Setup

iOS settings configuration to prevent offline disconnection and enable tracking when powered off

A configuration walkthrough for iOS to secure an iPhone against immediate disconnection if stolen. Disabling Control Centre access from the lock screen stops thieves from turning on Airplane Mode, while enabling Find My network features ensures the device remains trackable even after it is powered down.

How it works

  1. Block Airplane Mode from the Lock Screen:
  2. Go to Settings -> Face ID & Passcode (enter your passcode).
  3. Scroll down to 'Allow Access When Locked' (Доступ с блокировкой экрана).
  4. Turn OFF 'Control Centre' (Пункт управления). This prevents access to Control Center and Airplane Mode without unlocking the phone.
  5. Keep iPhone Trackable When Switched Off:
  6. Go to Settings -> tap your Apple ID profile at the top.
  7. Select 'Find My' (Локатор) -> 'Find My iPhone' (Найти iPhone).
  8. Turn ON all three options:
  9. 'Find My iPhone' (Найти iPhone)
  10. 'Find My network' (Сеть Локатора)
  11. 'Send Last Location' (Последняя геопозиция).
