How it works

  1. Local SIM card — buy a local SIM card immediately at the airport upon arrival.
  2. IMEI registration — register the IMEI of the smartphone you are using with the local SIM right at the airport.
  3. Obtain a PINFL (ПИНФЛ) — take your hotel registration slip (регистрация в отеле) and international passport (загранпаспорт) to a local Public Service Center (МФЦ / Центр госуслуг). It is ready the next day, or on the same day for an expedited fee.
  4. Visit the bank — go to the bank (Kapitalbank / Капиталбанк) to issue cards. Visa, Mastercard, and Uzcard are printed the same day; Humo is ready the next day.
