# Ghosted Client Follow-Up Scripts

> Follow-up message sequence to re-engage unresponsive sales prospects without sounding needy

A 3-step follow-up messaging sequence designed to re-engage prospective clients who stop replying to sales conversations. It replaces passive cliches with direct questions and light humor to elicit a clear yes or no without lowering status.

## How it works

Avoid low-status phrases:

❌ "Just following up"

❌ "Just touching base"

❌ "Just checking in with you"

Use this 3-step sequence instead:

1. Follow-Up \#1:

"\[Name\], did you have any questions, or how would you like to proceed?"

2. Follow-Up \#2:

"Hey \[Name\]—I’m worried about you 😕 I’ve reached out a few times but haven’t heard back. Could you let me know you’re okay? I’m totally fine if you don’t want to work together, just let me know so I don’t have to schedule an hour with my therapist 😅"

3. Follow-Up \#3:

"Did I get ghosted here, \[Name\]?" 👻

Rule: If no response after message \#3, stop chasing. Pivot later to reactivation messaging.
