EVVA MCS Locking System

High-security lock cylinder using magnetic rotors and dual mechanical coding.

Visit evva.com ↗

EVVA MCS (Magnetic Code System) is an ultra-high-security mechanical cylinder lock designed to resist non-destructive picking and unauthorized key duplication. It pairs four permanent samarium-cobalt magnetic pills in the key with eight internal freely rotatable magnetic rotors and two mechanical profile tracks. Because the magnetic rotors operate contactless and cannot be deciphered via visual inspection or standard 3D printing, it is widely considered one of the most secure mechanical locking systems available.

What it's for

  • Secure critical infrastructure facilities like airports, hospitals, and government sites against physical bypass
  • Prevent unauthorized 3D-printed or visually decoded key duplication
  • Organize large, complex master key systems across residential or commercial properties
  • Upgrade exterior and interior doors with pick-resistant cylinders

Features

  • Triple security design combining one magnetic coding track with two separate mechanical profile codings
  • Eight freely rotatable internal magnetic rotors driven contactless by four key magnets
  • Contactless magnet interaction that eliminates mechanical wear on magnetic components
  • 100% protection against key copying via 3D printing or photography
  • Restricted key duplication protected by an EVVA authorization security card
  • Multiple cylinder form factors including double cylinders, half cylinders, thumbturns, and furniture locks
  • Drill and manipulation resistance built into the cylinder housing

Pricing

Paid. Priced per lock cylinder and key configuration through authorized EVVA security partners.

Why it was saved

  • @homesecurity.by, 25 July 2025: Solves lock picking and key duplication vulnerabilities, as the magnetic rotors inside cannot be manipulated by traditional lock picks or decoding tools.
  • @homesecurity.by, 9 August 2025: Renowned in physical security and locksmithing as one of the hardest lock cylinders to pick non-destructively due to its complex dual-sided magnetic coding.
