# Enable Similar Account Suggestions on Instagram Web

> Desktop setting to allow Instagram to recommend your profile on similar accounts

This is a native setting available on the desktop version of Instagram that includes your account in profile recommendation carousels. Enabling it ensures your account is suggested to people viewing profiles similar to yours, helping increase organic discovery.

## How it works

1. Log into instagram.com via a desktop browser. 2. Navigate to Profile -\> Settings -\> Edit profile. 3. Scroll down to the bottom and check the box 'Show account suggestions on profiles' (Choose whether people can see similar account suggestions on your profile, and whether your account can be suggested on other profiles). 4. Click Submit.
