# DIY iPhone Device Farm Setup

> Hardware and software workflow for batch-controlling dozens of physical iPhones

A physical setup walkthrough showing how to manage and batch-automate around 70 iPhones from a single PC. It pairs multi-port USB charging racks and cooling fans with screen mirroring and multi-device management software to mirror screens, sync inputs, and trigger bulk app installs.

## How it works

Video 1: a hand plugs an iPhone into a white multi-slot charging station with built-in cooling fans, USB cables fanning out; dozens of phones racked. Monitor then shows a phone-mirroring tool with Vietnamese UI: device list (63, 64, 65, 69, 70, 71…), a 'Đang điều khiển' (controlling) state, App Store 'Được chia sẻ với bạn' install prompts pushed to all phones, a group action dialog 'Chuyển tiếp tới / thao tác lặp / Nhóm' listing devices 43–71 with a progress bar, each phone showing an iOS home screen. Video 2: grid of mirrored iPhone screens (home screens, widgets, iOS 18-style tinted icons), context menu on a device (Tắt dưới, Xoá...), dialer keypad controlled live on one phone while others idle; address bar shows Bing, folder path OneDrive \> Convey Personal \> Desktop \> Phone.

## What it is for

- Test mobile app builds across dozens of physical iOS devices simultaneously
- Automate repetitive mobile actions like bulk app downloads and group testing
- Monitor live multi-device iOS screen states on a single desktop display

## Key points

- Slotted multi-device charging rack equipped with built-in cooling fans and USB hubs
- Simultaneous low-latency screen mirroring for dozens of connected iPhones
- Group action controls to broadcast taps, navigation, and inputs across devices
- Bulk installation triggering across selected device batches
- Individual device inspection to manually override or dial into single units

## Why it was saved

- [@david_attisaas, 17 January 2026](https://x.com/david_attisaas/status/2012541922846609488): Shows a practical, low-cost mobile device farm: a slotted charging rack with USB cables and cooling fans holding ~70 iPhones, all mirrored in separate windows on a curved Samsung monitor where they can be controlled at once — install the same app on all devices as a group action, see iOS home screens live, run a dialer on one. Context is app farming/testing at scale.
