# Compositing AI Effects onto Product Ads Using Premiere Pro

A video editing workflow that combines Adobe Firefly's image-to-video generator with Premiere Pro compositing techniques. By generating isolated motion elements against green or black backgrounds, editors can animate surrounding visuals without distorting the core product shot. It uses Premiere's Ultra Key and blend modes to cleanly layer and position effects.

## How it works

1. Photograph your product cleanly.
2. In Adobe Firefly Image-to-Video, upload your product image as the first frame and prompt background growth (e.g., 'Coffee plant growing behind the product').
3. Generate isolated VFX elements using specific backgrounds:
4. Green screen: Prompt 'Coffee plant roots growing on a wall on a green screen'. In Adobe Premiere Pro, apply the 'Ultra Key' effect and use the eyedropper to remove the green background.
5. Black background: Prompt 'Slow and subtle smoke effect on black background'. In Premiere Pro, adjust the Opacity Blend Mode (e.g., 'Screen' or 'Lighten') to remove the black background seamlessly.
6. Layer and position these effects around the product.
