Captions is a mobile-first video studio that handles automated editing, animated subtitles, and AI avatars. ## How it works

How to create an AI Twin in Captions:

1. Open the Captions app and tap Create (+).
2. Select 'AI Creators' and choose 'AI Twin'.
3. Complete the quick 6-step facial calibration (neutral face, showing teeth, pursing lips, etc.).
4. Read the teleprompter text aloud clearly for about 1 minute to record training footage.
5. Once the twin is generated, select your avatar and provide the new script either by typing text, recording into the microphone, or uploading an audio file.
6. Select subtitle animations/styles and generate/export the finished video.
