# Buying Discounted Tour Operator Charter Seats

> How to find heavily discounted unsold charter flight seats via tour operators.

A booking method for finding steep discounts on flights by buying unsold tour operator seat quotas rather than standard scheduled tickets. Tour operators and consolidators dump unused seat blocks in the days before departure, often for a fraction of the airline price and with luggage included. Checking specialized consolidators and aggregators that index tour quotas can reveal identical flights at massive markdowns.

## How it works

When searching for flights—especially from resort destinations close to the departure date—do not check only standard aggregators like Aviasales or the official airline website:

1. Why it works: Tour operators purchase large quotas of seats (charter blocks) on scheduled and charter flights. In the final days or hours before departure, unsold quota seats are liquidated at steep discounts (and often include luggage by default).
2. Specialized charter consolidators to check: Clickavia (clickavia.ru) and tour operator booking engines like Biblio-Globus (bgoperator.ru).
3. Aggregators that index charter quotas: Ozon Travel (ozon.ru/travel) and Yandex Travel (travel.yandex.ru).
4. Price comparison shown for Malé to Moscow (Aeroflot):
5. Aviasales: ~66,120 RUB
6. Aeroflot official site: ~66,100 RUB
7. Tinkoff Travel: ~64,000 RUB (after cashback)
8. Ozon Travel: ~5,500 RUB (plus loyalty points)
9. Clickavia: ~5,200 RUB
10. Yandex Travel: ~5,149 RUB
11. Biblio-Globus: ~4,941 RUB
